How does our deposit protection benefit work?
If your vehicle is written off or stolen, we pay the deposit amount back to you. The amount you spent on your deposit will be repaid to you by Bidvest Insurance, up to the value of R300 000.
What else does Deposit Protection offer?
- Loyalty Bonus: We show how much we value you by rewarding your loyalty, with a payout of up to R10 000 towards a replacement vehicle.
- Instalment Protection: If your vehicle is stolen or written off and your claim takes longer than 60 days to process, we’ll cover your monthly instalment up to R5 000 for up to 3 months.

How do I claim from my Deposit Protection policy?
You can contact us on 0861 66 88 88 or email depositclaims@bidvestinsurance.co.za to notify us of the incident. The claims assessor will then guide you through the claims process.
